Violent Clashes in Al Mahfed and Yemeni Authorities Accuse Activists of Writing Slogans

Violent armed clashes occurred this evening
between undefined gunmen and security elements located at the Governmental Department in Al Mahfed district in Abyan province.
Local people said to Aden News Agency that the
clashes continued for nearly half an hour, without any details till the moment.
Separately, security sources in Abyan said that
the Security Administration in Abyan has demanded the security elements to arrest
the activist Saleh Abulshabab and the correspondent of Aden Live channel,
which supports the Southern Movement, in charges of posting photographs of Al
Baid, the former president of South Yemen, and
writing slogans against the Yemeni unity.
