A protest was staged this morning in Mudia
city, Abyan province, in harmony with the Southern Movement's program in the
city which includes a procession on Mondays.
Both the speakers and the statement issued by
the participants in the protest ensured that they will continue the struggle
until the "complete independence," as they said, as well as censuring
quelling Zanzibar's
protest, last Friday, which caused two injuries.
On the other hand, the authorities of AdenAirport
prevented the editor-in-chief of Al Ayyam Newspaper, Hisham Ba'sharahil, from leaving
Aden to Saudi Arabia, saying that he is prohibited
from traveling. However a presidential decree allowed Ba'sharahil to travel while
he was going back home.
A number of Southern Movement leaders and
activists were taking leave of Ba'sharahil, among them a crowd of people of Aden.
